On September 27th, coinciding with World Tourism Day, the Central Ministry of Tourism announced that the state's Pranpur, Sabarvani, and Ladpura Khas are the best tourism villages in the country. The Union Ministry of Tourism, which organises the Best Tourism Village Competition, aims to promote community-based values and lifestyle while preserving cultural and natural resources. Sabarvani and Ladpura Khas have been recognised for responsible tourism, while Pranpur has been chosen in the craft category.Principal Secretary Tourism and Culture Department and Managing Director Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board Sheo Shekhar Shukla said, "We are delighted that Pranpur, Sabarwani, and Ladpura Khas have been recognised as the best tourism villages in our state. These villages have successfully preserved their unique cultural heritage while simultaneously empowering the local community through tourism.
