Three Madhya Pradesh Hamlets Clinch Awards For Being Best Tourism Villages

At a ceremony held in New Delhi on September 27, World Tourism Day, the Union Tourism Ministry declared Madhya Pradesh's Pranpur, Sabarvani and Ladpura Khas as Best Tourism Villages

Madhya Pradesh is no stranger to beautiful places and offbeat tourist attractions. The many diverse facets of the state make it a unique destination to explore for travellers. Expounding on this fact, Madhya Pradesh has once again achieved a milestone on the national tourism stage. On September 27th, coinciding with World Tourism Day, the Central Ministry of Tourism announced that the state's Pranpur, Sabarvani, and Ladpura Khas are the best tourism villages in the country. The Union Ministry of Tourism, which organises the Best Tourism Village Competition, aims to promote community-based values and lifestyle while preserving cultural and natural resources.

Sabarvani and Ladpura Khas have been recognised for responsible tourism, while Pranpur has been chosen in the craft category.
