Mario Miranda (2 May 1926 -- 11 December 2011) The neglected pen and ink art saw a revival under the nib of the renowned cartoonist and illustrator--Mario Miranda. In a long career span of six decades, from the early 1950s to the time of his demise, Mario Miranda never failed to entertain us with his wit and humour. His cartoons and illustrations are mostly the result of his observations from his travels around the globe and of course his lifelong love--Goa.
