In a press conference attended by senior players Shakib Al Hasan, Mahmudullah and Mushfiqur Rahim, they released a list of 11 demands, including a reversal of the Bangladesh Cricket Board's decision last month to abandon the Bangladesh Premier League's franchise-based model.
The unprecedented step has put the upcoming tour of India in a jeopardy. The players are also not attending the ongoing National Cricket League.
"We just came to know about it we will discuss it in the board and try to resolve it as soon as possible," BCB CEO Nizamudin Chowdhury said. "I don't think it is anything like revolt. They are yet to tell us anything formally, but we are looking into the matter."
Bangladesh are slated to play three T20Is and a two-match Test series in India with the first T20I scheduled for November 3 in Delhi.
