Put against a mighty Indian side, Bangladesh got rare joy on Day 2 of the Day-Night Test at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata with Taijul Islam taking a stunning catch to dismiss Virat Kohli.
Kohli, who hit a brilliant century, flicked the third ball of the 81st over only to find a flying Islam plucking a catch out of thin air. Ebadat Hossain missed the line giving Kohli enough room to play the shot. But the Indian skipper failed to time it.
Islam ran from fine leg to deep and leapt to complete an unbelievable catch with both hands. A stunned Kohli could only sport a smile. He made 136 off 194 with the help of 18 fours.
