Mumbai Indians, the most successful team in the Indian Premier League (IPL), spent Rs 11.1 crore in the 2020 player auction to buy six players. (More Cricket News)

The majority of the amount was invested in acquiring Australian fast bowler Nathan Coulter-Nile (Rs 8 crore). The Rohit Sharma-led outfit also got Aussie batsman Chris Lynn for the base price of Rs 2 crore, which should be considered a bargain.

They also got Saurabh Tiwary (Indian batsman) for Rs 50 lakh, Digvijay Deshmukh (Indian all-rounder) for Rs 20 lakh, Prince Balwant Rai Singh (Indian all-rounder) for Rs 20 lakh and Mohsin Khan (Indian bowler) for Rs 20 lakh.

Final Squad: Rohit Sharma, Sherfane Rutherford, Suryakumar Yadav, Anmolpreet Singh, Chris Lynn, Saurabh Tiwary, Dhawal Kulkarni, Jasprit Bumrah, Lasith Malinga, Mitchell McClenaghan, Rahul Chahar, Trent Boult, Mohsin Khan, Fabian Allen, Prince Balwant Rai Singh, Digvijay Deshmukh, Hardik Pandya, Jayant Yadav, Kieron Pollard, Krunal Pandya, Anukul Roy, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Ishan Kishan, Quinton de Kock, Aditya Tare.
