Virat Kohli and Shardul Thakur on Friday produced a fantastic team-work to dismiss Colin Munro during the fourth T20I match between New Zealand and India at Wellington.
Defending a total of 165/8, India got Kiwi opener Martin Guptill cheaply at the score of 22/1 (4.2 overs), but the visitors faced Munro (64 off 47) and Tim Seifert stand. And it needed a special effort to end the partnership.
In the 12th over, Munro played the fourth delivery to towards sweeper cover, where Thakur fielded the ball and returned the ball. Kohli, at cover, took the relay throw and hit the target at the non-striker's end, leaving Munro well short.
