Neeraj Chopra's Happy Homecoming With Federation Cup Gold

In his first home tournament in three years, India's golden boy Neeraj Chopra again struck gold. Competing at the National Federation Cup men's javelin throw event, Chopra's best of 82.27m was marginally better than DP Manu's 82.06m. Chopra's effort fetched him gold while Manu who led till the halfway mark had to ultimately settle with silver. Asian Games silver medalist Kishore Jena who has already booked his spot for the Paris Games could not cross the 76m mark and finished well outside the podium
