K-Pop idol Yuna is set to tie the knot with music composer Kang Jung-hoon on February 18.
After many speculations of the K-Pop idol Yuna tying the knot with music composer Kang Jung-hoon took the internet by storm, the singer herself has taken to social media to confirm it all. She posted two gorgeous black and white pictures from the pre-wedding photoshoot and revealed that the two are set to wed next month.
Their wedding will place in an undisclosed location in Seoul on February 18 in the presence of only close friends and family.
The former AOA member wrote on Instagram (translated), “Hello, this is Yuna. First, to everyone who already saw the news [elsewhere], I wanted to convey the news with sincerity, so I wound up being a bit late. I have found someone with whom I’d like to spend the rest of my life."
“This approaching February, we plan to hold a wedding with just our close friends and family. He is a warm person who has always influenced me positively from by my side, and even during moments when I struggled and fell down, he always made it possible for me to get back up by unchangingly filling the empty spaces [within me]. Thank you for cheering me on with all of your heart during all my moments after my debut. Because I know how great the love is that you have given me, I will always remain in the same place as a Yuna who knows how to share that love and be generous," she continued.
She concluded by saying, "Please look warmly upon us and give us lots of blessings for our future. I hope that all of your days will also be filled with only happy things. Wishing you lots of good fortune in the new year."
Yuna debuted with AOA in 2012. After she left the group, she ventured into acting, became a pilates instructor and also continued in the music industry as a music producer, backing singer and lyricist under the name E.NA. Meanwhile, the groom-to-be is popularly known by his stage name, Friday of the musical duo GALACTIKA, and has penned lyrics for many songs including ITZY's Dalla Dalla, SISTAR19's 'Ma Boy,' and many more.
