The show is set to premiere later this week and fans cannot wait. ‘Doctor Slump’ shows Park Hyung-sik and Park Shin-hye coming together on screen after almost a decade. In a recent interview, the actors opened up about working with each other once again.

Park Hyung-sik and Park Shin-hye were last seen in ‘Heirs’ which was released almost a decade ago. Back then, their chemistry was highly talked about. ‘Doctor Slump’ marks Park Shin-hye return to acting after three years. Commenting on her comeback, she said that she was feeling a little nervous, a feeling that she usually associates with a new project. She revealed that she said yes to the project because the script was relatable and comfortable. She added that it emphasizes the universal idea of struggling and feeling insecure in relationships.

Park Hyung-sik, on the other hand, revealed that he found “humanity” in the script of ‘Doctor Slump.’ He added that the show has the potential to comfort people who are going through tough times.

Park Shin-hye revealed that Park Hyung-sik impressed everyone on set with his focus. She praised his personality and said that he can listen to people and collaborate effectively. Park Hyung-sik said that he was impressed by Park Shin-hye’s ability to express her emotions. He mentioned that he learned a lot about his craft from her.

‘Doctor Slump’ revolves around the life of two doctors who are rivals. However, a turn of events makes them find support in each other. Park Hyung-sik plays the role of a plastic surgeon, while Park Shin-hye plays the role of an anesthesiologist.
