Vijay Antony took to social media and issued his first statement after the death of his 16-year-old daughter, who allegedly died by suicide. The news of the death came in as a shock for everyone, and the amount of pain it has caused Vijay Anthony and the entire family was expressed via his words on social media.
Vijay Antony wrote, “Dear people, my daughter Meera is a very kind and brave person. She has gone to a better and peaceful place than this world where there is no caste, religion, money, jealousy, pain, poverty, hatred. She is talking to me. I also died with her. I have started spending time for her now. All the good things that I will do in her name, She will start it herself (sic).”
Meera was one of Vijay Antony and his wife Fathima’s two daughters. As per reports, she was battling stress and was studying in Std 12 at a private school in Chennai. She was declared dead when she was taken to the hospital in Mylapore.
