Allkpop reported that the woman in question would visit the house of Rain and Kim Tae-hee and ring their doorbell. The jury found her guilty of violating the Stalking Punishment Act. She was found to be a first-time offender. While she did not physically harm the Korean stars, she repeatedly visited their house and stalked them on a regular basis. Her act made the authorities put her behind bars.
As per the charges that have been put on her by the Criminal Division of Seoul, it was mentioned that she visited Rain and Kim Tae-hee’s house in Yongsan-gu, Seoul 14 times. She stalked their residence between March to October 2022. The woman received a notification for her misdemeanor, but she visited their residence on February 27 and April 7 last year. Not just the house, she also visited their beauty salon.
The prosecution had requested a one-year prison sentence. However, it was found out that she suffered from a mental illness. Keeping her mental illness in mind, the court considered that she may have stalked the couple while she was in a bad state herself. The court also looked at her background and the lack of family support.
Keeping these factors in mind, the court in Seoul stated detention, treatment, and education as measures to prevent her from conducting similar activities in the future.
