In a deeply disturbing incident that has sent shockwaves through the community, multiple girls were allegedly molested at a juvenile home in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. In response to this grave situation, District Magistrate (DM) Dinesh Chandra has taken swift action by suspending five individuals, including the juvenile home's manager, pending further investigation.
Upon receiving information about the distressing incident, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Kirti Raj immediately launched a comprehensive investigation at the juvenile home. After engaging with various authorities and speaking to the children residing in the facility, the matter was swiftly escalated to DM Dinesh Chandra's attention.
In light of the severity of the allegations and to ensure a fair and impartial inquiry, DM Dinesh Chandra has imposed a complete ban on anyone entering or exiting the children's home until the investigation reaches a conclusion.
Speaking to ANI, DM Dinesh Chandra stated, "An inquiry led by female officers was promptly initiated upon receiving the complaint regarding indecent behaviour towards the female children in the juvenile home. As a result of the investigation's findings, a First Information Report (FIR) has been registered."
