The newly-appointed chairman of the National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development (NaBFID) K.V. Kamath said on Tuesday that the organisation is likely to commence its lending operation with about 190-200 big infrastructure projects in the railways, roads and energy sector. Kamath told news channel CNBC TV-18 in an interview that 193 projects above Rs 1,000 crore each are under the National Infrastructure Pipeline (NIP).
