Jamaat-E-Islami Leads Massive Lahore Rally Against Israeli Bombing In Gaza

Amidst anti-Israeli and anti-American slogans, the rally took a fervent turn as participants called for jihad, emphasizing the urgency for collective action to address what they perceive as the world's failure to protect Gazans

In a powerful display of solidarity, tens of thousands of supporters from Pakistan's main religious political party gathered in Lahore to protest against Israel's recent bombings in Gaza. The emotionally charged crowd, including women and children, marched for several kilometers, brandishing banners and posters denouncing Israel and the United States while expressing support for the Palestinians, as reported by PTI.

Amidst anti-Israeli and anti-American slogans, the rally took a fervent turn as participants called for jihad, emphasizing the urgency for collective action to address what they perceive as the world's failure to protect Gazans. Senator Sirajul Haq, the chief of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), conveyed that the ongoing global rallies in support of Palestinians serve as a wake-up call to governments worldwide, providing a voice for the innocent.

Refuting the efficacy of resolutions and statements issued by the Organization for Islamic Cooperation, Senator Haq asserted that mere words are insufficient. He urged Muslim rulers to rise and take concrete steps to halt the aggression, emphasizing the need for decisive action to protect the vulnerable. The Lahore rally follows similar massive gatherings organized by JI earlier this month in Karachi and Islamabad, underscoring the widespread concern and call for action on the issue.
