The much awaited trailer teaser of ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom’ starring Jason Mamoa was dropped Sunday. The movie will premiere in December and the trailer will be launching in the next 4 days
Fans have been waiting for the sequel of Aquaman since 2018. The first part of the movie did quite well at the box office as well as received so much love from the fans. The much-anticipated sequel will hit the theaters on December 20, 2023. fter pushing its release date several times due to Covid-19 and post-production issues.
The movie is directed by James Wan starring Jason Momoa in the maid lead with Amber Heard, Nicole Kidman, Patrick Wilson and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.
‘Aquaman2’ or ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom’ carries a lot of hope and expectation for the productions as well as the audience since the production house Warner Bros. and DC Comics as the proprietor have equally suffered due to the flops of their previous released movies. ‘Shazam! Fury of the Gods’, ‘Blue Beetle’, and especially ‘The Flash’ didnt do very well at the box office in 2023.
“I’m gonna kill Aquaman and destroy everything he holds dear,” says Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as the Black Manta reprising his character from the first film as a chilling threat by the same, which adds to another reason why the movie may be a great hit.
The trailer shows some really intense graphics wowing the viewer with Jason Momoa on a neon-blue seahorse, with an octopus clinging onto it, leaping towards the sky. The prequel no doubt had an exemplary plot with amazing cinematography and action. Fans are keen to see if the upcoming movie’s action and graphics will top the previous one.
Though the plot of the movie is still unknown but fans have made their own theories and explanations regarding the sequel. It is only a matter of times to know whether the movie is as good as it seems or if will it continue to be a bad year for DC.
