Justin Timberlake began his music career as a member of the boy band NSYNC in the late 1990s. The actor-singer, along with Kirkpatrick, JC Chasez, Lance Bass, and Joey Fatone climbed to prominence swiftly, with singles such as "Tearin' Up My Heart." Justin's soft vocals and boyish charm won him fans, and he quickly became the group's face. However, NSYNC went on pause in 2002 after three successful albums, and Timberlake decided to focus on his solo career.
He then debuted as a solo artist in 2002 with the publication of his debut solo album, "Justified." The album deviated from NSYNC's mainstream sound, integrating R&B, hip-hop, and funk influences. Justin went ont o collaborated with a range of artists in addition to his solo work during his career. He has collaborated with Madonna, Beyoncé, and Jay-Z, to name a few. Timberlake has also contributed to the soundtracks of various films, including "Trolls" and "The Social Network." Timberlake's collaborations and soundtrack contributions have allowed him to experiment with new genres and styles, increasing his musical palette.
After a lengthy musical absence, Justin returned to the mainstream scene with his 2018 album "Man of the Woods." The album highlighted Timberlake's more mature and introspective side, with themes of love, family, and nature interwoven throughout the tracks. While his change from his former pop sound surprised some fans, the album got critical acclaim and landed at number one on the Billboard 200 chart.
