‘Honey Boo Boo’ fame Anna ‘Chickadee’ Cardwell died at the age of 29. She was battling with cancer for 10 months before resting in peace.
Anna Cardwell, known for the TLC program ‘Honey Boo Boo’, died on Saturday night at her mother’s residence in Georgia. She was a mother to two daughters.

Cardwell's mother June Shannon, also known as Mama June and sister Alana Thompson also known as Honey Boo Boo announced on Sunday that Cardwell passed away on Saturday night following a battle with cancer. The news of her death was shared by them through an Instagram post.
Cardwell was diagnosed with cancer in January, and the doctors discovered that the disease had spread to her kidney, liver, and lung. She never formally announced her diagnosis but shared her struggle with cancer on Instagram and TikTok throughout this year.
Mama June’s daughter was diagnosed with stage 4 adrenal carcinoma and had undergone multiple rounds of chemotherapy. In March, she began her first round of chemotherapy. She spoke on social media about her cancer struggle, stating that she was undergoing her third round of chemotherapy on May 10.
Cardwell took her last breath at her mother’s home in Milledgeville, Georgia. Gina Rodriguez, the family’s manager and close friend since 2014 said that Cardwell's daughter, all her sisters, her husband, and close family were at her side during her last moment.
Chickadee left behind two daughters, Kaitlyn (11) and Kylee (8), with her husband Edridge Toney.
Cardwell made appearances on the TLC reality series "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" between 2012 and 2014. Thompson starred in the "Toddlers and Tiaras" spinoff series, which chronicled the family's daily activities.
After TLC canceled "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" in 2014, the family pursued other reality projects, such as a WE television series featuring Shannon.
