The global cryptocurrency market continued on its downward spiral for the fourth consecutive day on Saturday, down by 0.05 per cent to $1.17 trillion. The total trading volume recovered a bit from yesterday’s nosedive, though it was still trading at a dip of 15.13 per cent at $21.76 billion.
Shiba Inu SHIB was the most trending cryptocurrency as well as the top gainer, up by 8.36 per cent to $0.00001084. Its 24-hour trading volume was $593.92 million.
Rocket Pool RPL was the top loser, down by 3.20 per cent to $27.28 in the last 24 hours. Its 24-hour trading volume was $5.20 million.
DeFi fell 8.47 per cent to $1.84 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

Bitcoin: Bitcoin was down by 0.10 per cent to $29,365.70. Its 24-hour trading volume was $9.43 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on the market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was at 48.74 per cent, down by 0.03 per cent over the last 24 hours.
Ethereum: Ethereum was down by 0.02 per cent to $1,846.78 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $3.18 billion.
Tether: Tether was up by 0.08 per cent to $0.9994 in the last 24 hours. Tether’s 24-hour trading volume was $15.53 billion. It is ranked third on Coinmarketcap.

Solana (SOL) was down by 0.65 per cent to $24.44. Its 24-hour trading volume was $282.13 million.
Avalanche was trading at $12.43, down by 0.46 per cent, while its 24-hour trading volume was $77.08 million.
