Paralympic Games 2024 Schedule

With the Paris Olympics done and dusted, it's time for the 2024 Paralympic Games. The 17th edition of the 'Games' begins on Wednesday, August 28 and goes on till Sunday, September 8.

There's no sporting action on August 28, the day of the opening ceremony, but the following days of the 11-day extravaganza, will witness para athletes fighting for medals each day in 549 medal events. In fact, on the very first day of the competitions, 22 gold medals will be up for grabs with 15 on the line in para swimming alone.

Here's how the day-wise medal distribution looks like: 22 on August 29, 42 on August 30, 49 on August 31, 60 on September 1, 54 on September 2, 50 on September 3, 63 on September 4, 63 on September 5, 57 on September 6, 75 on September 7 and 14 on September 8.

India has sent 84 athletes to the Paris Paralympics -- the highest-ever in its history. India’s medal hunt too will begin from the very first day of the Paralympics as multiple athletes will be on the field trying to get on the podium.
