US Open 2024 Schedule & Results

The US Open 2024 is underway from Monday, August 26 and will go on till Sunday, September 8. The final Grand Slam of the year brings a lot of storylines with itself but none bigger than Novak Djokovic chasing an unprecedented 25th Major title. A triumph in New York will take the Serb where no one has ever reached as he will surpass Margaret Court to become the most decorated tennis player of all time.

Djokovic is the defending champion and he has already begun his title defence on the opening day of the tournament. The women’s singles defending champion is Coco Gauff who also took the court on the very first day of the tournament.

Among men, Djokovic’s biggest challenger remains Carlos Alcaraz who has won the Wimbledon and French Open. Jannik Sinner, the Australian Open champion, is another one to watch out for. In the women’s singles, the likes of Iga Swiatek, Aryna Sabalenka, Zheng Qinwen, etc. are expected to mount serious title challenge.

The 144th edition of the US Open, the final Grand Slam of the year, is taking place at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center inside the Flushing Meadows Corona Park in New York.
